Hansons Auctioneers is offering their first specialist textile sale at the Staffordshire location on September 29, 2022. And for vintage and antique clothing collectors this will include a treasure trove of rare and highly sought after pieces from private sellers, collectors and dealers. It is also the first of more specialized texile auctions to come at Hansons, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

The full catalogue is available to view online, but we have picked some of our favourite pieces to share with you below.

This 1954 Lilli Ann jacket has a snakeskin weave and velvet detailing that forms a heart around the bust.

A triad of 1960’s sequinned stage costumes from the Del Rubio Triplets is an extremely rare find, and there are two sets up for auction!

This combing jacket from the late 19th century is made from silk and features lace with tiny shamrocks.

A rare Vivienne Westwood and Malcom McLaren piece from the Nostalgia of Mud Buffalo Girl collection, Autumn/Winter 1982/1983.

Looking for menswear? How could we forget this incredible 1940’s suit lot, and both dinner suits are CC41.

This 1870’s midniht blue velvet jacket is absolute perfection.

You can never go wrong with investing in accessories, and Hansons’ textile and clothing action has everything you can imagine. From hats to shoes to handbags and scarves, even bakelite jewellery and kid gloves.
